many people rarely think about until it becomes urgent. What happens when you simply can't get

the medicine you need? In Nigeria, where access to drugs can be inconsistent and fragmented,

she's building a company trying to change that,

connecting more than 1,000 pharmacies and delivering hundreds of thousands of medicines

across the country.

The family member of mine needed a simple medical device, so I took him confidently to several

pharmacies, and we visited nine, and none of them had it.

What followed was a business built from scratch in a challenging market and moments where it nearly

didn't survive.

We put tears, we put to blood, we put everything we could into it, and we had to stop

after 12 months.

Even after those setbacks, demand for the service grew faster than they could keep up with.

Now, she says the company's future may no longer depend on her.

We are clear that it's not about Abimbollah.

I could exit by the end of this year and I know that those plans were still continuing.

Abimbola grew up in Lagos, Nigeria in a blended faith household with Islam on one side of the family and Christianity on the other.

She describes it as a pretty typical middle class upbringing where education really mattered.
