Summary
Some hauntings begin with a bang. Others begin with a single unsettling moment that's easy to dismiss.
Shortly after moving into a new apartment, a young woman wakes in the middle of the night and comes face to face with a silent figure standing at the foot of her bed. Nothing else happens for weeks, and life moves on. But as the months pass, small disturbances begin to pile up—a computer repeatedly dialing out on its own, strange feelings throughout the apartment, and growing questions about what may have happened there before they arrived.
By the time the couple learns someone may have died in their building, they're already counting down the days until their lease ends. Then, just before moving out, they experience one final event together that neither of them can dismiss.
