the George Floyd case and specifically the Derrick Show in trial.

I think everybody in the world knows who George Floyd is at this point because of the video

that was circulated widely last summer and caused a national reckoning on race and policing

and social justice and sent millions of people into the streets.

And it's this video that is sort of dominating the trial right now.

The one where you see a black man on the ground, face down, handcuffed, moaning, saying

you can't breathe, crying out for his mother with three officers atop of him and the one

specifically Derek Chauvin who has his knee on the man's neck for nine minutes and 29

seconds is now the count and watching it obviously feels kind of like an eternity in some ways.

It's been very intense as this trial has approached the city of Minneapolis, basically boarded
