The events of this weekend are front and center,

with the would-be assassin being arraigned in Washington, D.C. as we speak,

or just momentarily about to conclude,

I go back 19 years and a week ago to when a killer on Virginia Tech's campus murdered 37 people and wounded another dozen, And NBC got a tape from the crazy person. He was a complete

schizophrenic. I don't think he ever stood trial. I was in a mental institution somewhere for

all I know, Ms. Cho, C.H-O. And he murdered all those people.

But before he did, he made a tape, a manifesto, and he sent it to NBC.

And without thinking about it, NBC ran it.

And at the time and since, I was enraged at the time.

I'm still angry now. You do not give would-be assassins statement

killers. That's what I call them, statement killers, whether it's a school shooting or an attempt to

assassinate President Trump, or the attempt to kill all the Republicans at the baseball field,

or the attempt to burn down Josh Shapiro's house or the

attempt to anyone who's making a statement you'd never ever ever ever give voice to their statement
