It was a quiet week in the war, if you call all those ceasefire violations by Hezbollah,

lobbying missiles into Israel, and by Iranian proxies in Iraq, attacking Kuwait, quiet.

But full-scale war is not yet broken out again. Looks like we're sending

Special Envoy Whitkoff and Kushner back to Pakistan. That's not been confirmed yet at the time

that I am laying this down. I don't believe this is going to end up in anything other than

the return to combat in a pretty big way.

Because Vahidi, who's the new czar of Iran, is, he'd rather be martyr than rich.

They have a new junta.

The head of the junta is Bahidi.

He's an old-school IRG-C martyr guy and fought in the big war, 80 to 88 against Iraq and the Iraq-Iran war.

So I expect he's going to take a lot of persuading. I personally believe, as you'll hear me talk about with Ben Nominich, maybe Matt Contenetti, that the United States ought to hand them a target list, a non-exclusive target list,

just says when day one begins, we'll hit this oil target, and then day two, day, whatever day.

And then the final day, if you haven't yielded the highly enriched uranium, taking the vow never to go after nukes again,

and put constraints on your missiles and ease up on

your people, return the internet. Then we will take out Karg Island. They're going to take two things

to make a nuclear weapon. Time and money. They think they've got all the time in the world and all

the oil. Well, we're not going to

leave them with the oil if we don't have a deal on the nukes because President Trump is not going to

do that. So I'm hoping he pursues that. You'll hear me talk about that possibility with both

Eli Lake and Matt Contonity and, of course, Van Damash. There's a lot ahead on today's big weekend pod.
