rained while everyone was asleep. Her brother remembered it more clearly than she did. She only

holds one solid memory from that time, but he insists. She said it often. At the time,

their parents brushed it off as imagination. Kids invent things. Kids merge dreams with reality.

Kids say strange sentences and forget them by morning.
