where we were when that happened, but we got one this week with Bill Whittle and Stephen Green.

And gentlemen, we're going to just have kind of a loose conversation about the events of this week,

including the assassination attempt on former President Donald

Trump, as well as the Republican Convention, the vice presidential pick for the president,

the reaction of the sitting president in the White House, and anything else that comes to our

minds. I think some of our viewers just need to work through the details in their heads.

And honestly, I'll kick off by saying a lot of my feelings about everything are still

kind of muddled. There's so much that happen and there are so many

questions that still remain and so many concerns that this is not a history book. This is

a snapshot as it happens, so to speak, in time. So years later, when people watch this video,

they will see us probably

just kind of grappling with something that they know a lot more about in the future than we did.

Stephen Green, I was at my full-time job when the text came from Bill to the two of us with the picture of President Trump, with blood

streaking across his face, swarmed by Secret Service agents with a flag in the background,

and I did not at that point know what had happened.

And so there was a moment of disorientation for me of just wondering what's going on here.

How did the news come to you and what was your immediate thought and reaction?

The same way it comes to so many people now through Twitter, X, I guess I should say, totally different

from when Reagan was shot in 1981. And by the way, I was born in 1969. So to me, where were you
