Annexation is happening. The West Bank is being annexed. That needs to be clarified. It's not

whether it will. It is. Settlements are growing and villages are being depopulated. You know,

we've witnessed unprecedented rates of villages being depopulated in the last 15 months. Settlers are

moving to take over Bethlehem right now in the south, as well as Hebron.

You're mentioning H1, H2. It's being emptied completely of its Palestinian population now.

In the old city of Hebron, what little shops remained are now closing.

We want to begin the way we usually do, Mediam, with a question about what brought you to journalism,

like what was the path that you took to get to journalism and commentary, and also was it like

being a Palestinian journalist under the present circumstances in view of what you wrote about recently,

the, and I think we all agree with you too, the dereliction of duty by so many Western journalists

in terms of the coverage of Palestine in general and the Gaza genocide in particular.
