Dr. Gladys McGarey is more than one hundred years old and a still-consulting doctor. Recognized as a pioneer of the allopathic and holistic medical movements, she is also a founding diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine. She is the cofounder and past president of the American Holistic Medical Association (now called the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine), as well as the cofounder of the Academy of Parapsychology and Medicine. Dr. Gladys lives and works in Scottsdale, Arizona, where for many years she shared a medical practice with her daughter.
In her new book The Well Lived Life, Dr. McGarey shares her six actionable secrets to enjoying lives that are long, happy, and purpose-driven.
