Imagine, if you will, that your mind and body is like a sponge. When you're born,

it's dry, clear, it's open, and it's ready to soak up the world around you. But over time, as you experience life, that sponge begins to absorb things. Sometimes it's the beauty of the world,

the joy of family, friendship, and love. But other times it's the harder

stuff, the difficult moments, the stress, the fear, the traumas. And the more it absorbs, the heavier

it gets. Now think about what happens when a sponge gets saturated. It can no longer

soak up anything else without spilling over. It becomes weighed down and the simple act of carrying
