Think in terms of the immediate situation and never in terms of the larger picture the

principle that is established the precedent of it all. The Supreme Court when they pass judgment, when they render a ruling,

they are very mindful of what is known as precedent.

Precedent is very important in jurisprudence.

If the Supreme Court rules that a left-handed woman may not file a lawsuit

against her employer for being for requiring right-handedness, that precedent at the highest

level now stands. And the Supreme Court is reticent to overturn that.

That's a silly ruling on making a point, make it easy, that's what was all in the top of my head.

I should have planned that out better.

So when you establish precedent in jurisprudence,

it is like a tall, strong tree.

It stands there ever present.

It's a rule.

It's a rule that is followed and honored. So I think you have to recognize that we are always

in the process of setting a precedent, of establishing principles.

Even as we tear down a precedent or principle,

we are in so doing replacing it with some precedent or principle.
