Welcome to the Crazy Love Podcast.

After studying the first three chapters of Efesians,

and understanding the incredible blessings and promises that we've received

from God, what should our response be? How should we live in light of these truths? In this

week's teaching, Francis Chan begins to unpack Ephesians Chapter 4, highlighting

God's desire for the Church where everyone uses their unique gifts to build one another up in love and walk in a manner that

is worthy of our calling.

Well tonight we're going to start Ephesians chapter four and I'm excited about this I'm excited about every week in Ephesians. It's just been so good. But Ephesians 4 is particularly

meaningful to me because I feel like I've been chasing this for years and I still

haven't, I haven't seen it, I haven't experienced it because Ephesians 4 is about God's desire for the church.

He talks about how somehow he's gifted us all and somehow we each every one of us in those who

aren't with us tonight we all have been given some sort of gift for the body and it's only when every

single part does his or her part that the church actually builds itself up in love.

And so when I read Ephesians for him, I've been going, God, I want this so badly.

And so the last thing I want to do is just preach through Ephesians 4. My prayer is that we become an Ephesians 4 church, that this actually happens. I mean I just go gosh I'm I'm too old to just preach

sermons on this. We have to look at this as God Almighty God's word, his desire for the church and for us to go,

yes, I want to be that, I want to become that, I want to see what it's like if a whole group of people decide I want to know what

my gift is to the church and I want to build this church up in love.

That there are no spectators that are just going,

okay, well I just wanted to find a place with a good message,

you know, some good worship, a nice service for an hour like I'm just done with that I want to be

united with a group of people that say I want this I know this is still possible today. I know that this is what Christ
