Summary
As moms, we give of ourselves from the moment we get up until the moment we put our heads on the pillow. In the midst of all that chaos, your needs are in there, too! Yet, if you’re anything like me, your needs are probably the first to get set aside. That’s how alcohol found its way into motherhood: In the gap between our needs and the lack of resources we had to meet them.
You deserve so much more than that. This is your motherhood experience. You deserve to enjoy it.
So I want you to ask yourself - what do you need this Mother’s Day? Answering that question and communicating it to your loved ones could go a long way to rebalancing the scales that are so often balanced away from our needs as moms.
Happy Mother’s Day!
