You know, you know the Lord has to bring us to nothing to bring us to everything he has for us sometimes we get to thinking we're really something you know we really we're something we're

nothing the Lord is a wonderful savior and it's in meetings like this

that God brings us back to center he brings us back to himself and frankly that is exactly

what God was doing with Jonah the runaway prophet hey look Jonah was a prodigal before the

prodigal son moving in the wrong

direction away from the presence of the Lord and oh the great mercy of our God anybody glad his

mercies are new every morning oh yes his mercy endureth forever and Jonah is a picture of that for every one of us I really believe

that the book of Jonah may be one of the greatest books on repentance and returning and revival

and regeneration in all of scripture and here we are thousands of years later rejoicing in the

grace of the same God that Jonah came to know. With that in mind,

let's open the Word of God together again. Would you please to the book of Jonah? And we're coming

to the second half of this book beginning in this hour. We have walked through Jonah chapter 1

and all but one verse of Jonah chapter two.
