I'm showing you this church in transition because this church is a church in transition.

Change, transition, part of life.

As long as we're on this side never going to change it's not a matter

of whether they're going to face it or not it's rather how you're going to get through it and uh in the

two meetings we've had already today i've showed you two marks of this first century church

and of course was a spirit empowered Church and a mightily used church.

I would remind you, by the way, that Acts 1 is not the end of the story. It's just the beginning

of the next season of it. The day of Pentecost follows, and 3,000 people get saved, and

the gospel advances and the Lord's at work. And I just want to remind this church that I'm talking to,

I'm talking about this local assembly tonight,

that God is not finished with you.

God is a God of new beginnings.

And the devil and sin will bring you to a dead end.

That God never brings you to an ending.

He always brings you to a new beginning. In fact, even when this life ends,

somebody said, oh, that dear one died. They didn't really die if they know Jesus. They just stepped

out of time into eternity. It went to be with Jesus. So you follow the flesh. You hit a wall. You
