0:41.8	Some time ago, I was reading through the Gospel according to Matthew in my own devotional time.
0:48.5	And I came to Matthew chapter 9 and the chapter just captivated me.
0:53.3	In fact, I've just been meditating on it and letting the Lord use it in my own soul,
1:00.3	and I hope God will use it in your soul today.
1:03.2	Matthew 9 is a chapter that reveals to us the power of Christ.
1:09.3	And I'll say more about this in the next hour, but there is no power
1:13.3	like the power of our Christ. And Matthew 9 is an illustration of that. Look with me. Let's just
1:19.9	read a little bit starting in verse number one. The Bible says, and he entered into a ship and passed over
1:26.8	and came into his own city.
1:30.9	Would you mark that little expression his own city?
1:34.8	Now, you remember, Bethlehem was the city of his birth,
1:38.5	and Nazareth was the city of his upbringing,
1:41.9	but Copernium was the city of his choosing. Now, that's really interesting, but Copernium was the city of his choosing now that's really interesting
1:46.8	but copernium was the place that he chose to live and labor out of it was his ministry headquarters
1:53.4	it was the hometown of jesus if you will what a privilege to be called the hometown of jesus
