I love all of John's writings.

Of course, the gospel, according to John, lays the foundation for who Christ is.

It is the great gospel record we refer to so often. But when you come

to the end of the New Testament, you come to these three little letters that John wrote first,

second, and third John. And I really think we don't give enough attention to them. In fact,

I'll just show you what I'm talking about, I'm not preaching on this, but look at second and third John for just a moment.

I was in Canada a few weeks ago preaching to a group of men there in a men's conference, and I took the little book of third John.

I would challenge you to take third John and read it, not while I'm preaching, but on your own time and study it.

Because there are several men identified in 3rd John.

There's a man named Gaius.

There's a man named Diotrifice.

If you don't know, that's a man you don't want to be.
