All right, well, let's go to Acts 17 then.

And if you're just joining us, I didn't really let them choose. We've been there all day.

But we're going to look at this portion of scripture again, where Paul is at Athens.

And I gave you a little perspective on Athens in the morning service, but I want to turn the thing around,

and I want you to look at it

from Paul's side for this few moments we have together. Look at Acts 17, beginning in verse 16.

The Bible says, now, by the way, aren't you glad God's always working in the now?

Right now. Now, while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him.

When he saw the city wholly given to idolatry, therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews and with the devout persons,

and in the market daily with them that met with him.

Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans and of the Stoics encountered him,
