The first few days of April will see a major focus on auto sales and

deliveries numbers with reports expected from General Motors Toyota and Tesla and

Netflix is reportedly scaling back movie development.

Let's get started, but before we get to our top stories,

let's take a look at what's expected in the markets this week.

The week begins with a focus on the energy sector as the OPEC Joint Ministerial

Monitoring Committee meets to discuss oil production.

The committee pledged to cut overall output by 2 million barrels per day at its last meeting in February

and is largely expected to hold that line. The earnings slate is razor thin in the week ahead with reports only from constellation

brands, conagra brands, and Levi Strauss standing out.

However, Walmart's annual investor community meeting and a flurry of auto sales and

deliveries reports from Tesla Rivian Automotive General Motors and

Chinese Electric Vehicle Makers Neo XP, and Lee Auto have the potential to create some sparks

as investors weigh the impact of price cuts and rising competition.
