We pray that you would go before us as we launch out now into Proverbs chapter 2.

We pray that you'd speak to us out of your word.

We all need an infusion, a generous infusion of your wisdom.

Lord, we pause right now.

We divorce ourselves from the things of this world.

And we enter into this classroom setting as it were we we all want to sit at the feet of the master Lord teach us and Lord we pray that we would

leave this building today better equipped to navigate the world in which we live in, and how fast

things are changing, how fast things are going, and how much all of a sudden we've been

thrusted into the days of deception.

We need wisdom.

Wisdom is something that AI will never be able to produce no matter how smart it gets.

Wisdom.

So, Father, we pray now, and we ask in Jesus' name and all God's people said, amen.

Well, Church family, we're in Proverbs chapter 2, and we're going to be reading the bulk of the or the whole of the

chapter. We'll read it for context sake. I've got to be honest with you. I was completely prematurely

celebrating that last night when I went to bed I thought, okay, this is it. The people are going to be

shocked. We're going to get all the way through one chapter and one Sunday.

We're going to set a world's record here for this church.

And then when I go to bed on Saturday nights, I've got anywhere from 35 to 45 pages of notes.

And between 2 and 6 a.m., it all goes down every week to 10 pages.

And so we're not going to make it very far, is what the answer is.

But we'd rather become wise people than a hurried people.
