Some of the random notes that I took about

this person, in this case, George Washington, that didn't fit into the main narrative. So to start

off with, what is the Washington guide? What is the Washington plan to achieving his type of success?

I think the first thing that stands out to me is be quietly ambitious, be reliable, and follow a clear

path, a well-trod path. You know, Washington was not someone who set out to start a new country.

Isn't someone who set out to be the father of his country. He's someone who just set out to do the

right thing, to be beloved by his countrymen, to gain

some type of renown.

But he wasn't a wildly ambitious person.

He wasn't someone in the mold of a Napoleon or even Alexander Hamilton, who is his

contemporary.

And you know, I do think that there is a place to be someone who's extremely ambitious,

like a Hamilton. But there's also a place to be someone who's extremely ambitious, like a Hamilton,

but there's also a place for people like Washington.

And if you want to be a Washington-type figure, you're not going to chase after big, visionary dreams of something grand.
