It gave the impression of some sort of specificity or accuracy that really doesn't translate into our day-to-day lives

You know, there's an old saying that for a lot of people the opposite of talking is not listening

It's waiting to talk

Well, those people who aren't good listeners who tend to be IDs and ICs

Don't realize that they're not listening and they're not paying attention and they can't tell

The exact behaviors that people are engaging in and so you wouldn't be able to adjust if all you had was a number in your head

And we don't like the idea of reducing people to just a number

So we tried to make it simpler. We got rid of the numbers

We focused just on broad tendencies and then more importantly, of course

We then gave you specific instructions for how to work with people that are different than you
