In the wake of Dobbs versus Jackson Women's Health, the landmark Supreme Court decision that overturned

Roe v. Wade, states are clarifying just where they stand on the issue of abortion, as

pro-life states have moved legislatively to protect life and limit access to abortion services,

pro-abortion states have not only moved to expand access to abortion,

but some are now even targeting pro-life pregnancy resource centers

accusing them of misleading the public and putting women at risk.

Earlier this month the Massachusetts Department of Public Health

announced a $1 million multi-month smear campaign

against the nearly 30 pro-life pregnancy centers in that state.

The campaign, which would go out via social media platforms, billboards, public transportation

ads, and radio would paint pregnancy resource centers as dangerous and fraudulent centers

that, quote, are deceiving people who may be frightened or confused as they find themselves

at a crossroads, end quote.

Now a few years ago the state of California famously attempted to force pro-life pregnancy

centers to advertise the state's abortion services, even mandating a particular

font size that had to be used in the ads.

Thankfully, that effort was struck down in court as unconstitutional for speech, but apparently undeterred by that failed effort.

This year, the California Attorney General

sued five pregnancy resource centers
