Evgeny Progression has just halted his march.

He's reached a deal with Vladimir Putin.

But his trips will not be molested and they're going to return to what he calls their field basis.

He's referring to two fairly large Russian cities now under the control of Agnudrup

and no longer under control of Putin's authorities.

So what is going on?

I'm Fraser Nelson and I'm joined by two of my spectator colleagues, Professor Mark Galliotti

and Spatlandemorniets. Mark, what have we just witnessed today?

It looks like a coup and I mean the idea that this is some kind of false flag operation which

some still cling to seems increasingly implausible and it also looks like whether or not

precaution goes down in flames or whatever that in some ways this really is the beginning of

the end for the Putin system. However long that may take.

Right and what we're seeing right I don't know it's so difficult to tell what to believe

what not to believe but we're let to believe that the majority of the forces are something

like 250 miles outside Moscow we're seeing pictures of diggers digging trenches in the motorway

and almost as if Moscow is preparing to to find itself under siege. I mean is it plausible?
