Hi, this is Josh Marshall and this is the Josh Marshall podcast.

We have a kind of an interesting episode today.

Interesting on a few different levels.

We are going to talk about, you know, I just did a post on Trump had this rally in Arizona on Saturday.

And there's, you know, there's that kind of like elite journalism thing of people aren't supposed to amplify Trump and, you know, kind of foreground what he's saying too much for all these reasons that don't at least to me make a lot of sense.

So anyway, this morning I noticed this right up in a roll call where it turns out that in addition to sort of, you know, kind of going right past 11 up to 12 on the sort of the racist incitement stuff about whites being replaced and only only known.

Whites are going to get the COVID medication and all this kind of stuff.

He's now explicitly telling his supporters you got a cheat in the next election.

You got a Democrats do it.

So you have to cheat just to even the score and make it fair.

And I think we've always known that all these charges about, you know, false charges about cheating and, you know, fake election this and that and the other is really about a permissioning structure to say it's OK.

To say it's OK for you to cheat because they cheated or it's OK for you to prevent them from voting because they cheated all that kind of stuff.

But he's getting more and more explicit on that and I think everybody should know that I think everybody should know that and I think that Republican should be asked about it at every turn.

So that is happening.
