| 0:12.0 | Hour one of the Von Hesler Doctrine begins right now. I'm your host, Eric Von Hesler, surrounded by the doctrinairs. |
| 0:31.9 | The cut sheet is, you got the wrong date on there, Jared Yamamoto. I just want to point that out. |
| 0:36.9 | Oh, hey, I'm here. Hey, happy Friday. Shut up. I haven't introduced you yet. Just want to open with a complaint. That's all. Tim Andrews is here. Autumn Fisher is here. George Clark is here. And Jared Yamamoto, who apparently by my cut sheet thinks it's Thursday, April 2nd. |
| 1:31.1 | We're all in a Thursday state of mind. I don't want the week to end, Eric. I'm in a Friday state of mind, Jared. He's in a Friday state of mind. Don't hold back here. I'm out. You're in no state of mind. Is that what you're saying? You're in zero state of mind. I really did think yesterday was Friday, though, for a long time. Yeah, it happens to me from time to time. I think it's going to be the last day of the week, and then I wake up the next day, and lo and behold, there's one more weekday to go, which is kind of exciting, you know? You wake up thinking it's Saturday, you find out it's Friday, you're like, wow, I get to go to work again. What a special surprise. Another day for opportunity, as you always say. |
| 1:35.8 | That's another day. It's actually another opportunity to be productive. |
| 1:39.9 | Oh, excuse me. I'm sorry. That's what I say when I open my eyes in the morning. |
| 1:46.5 | Oh, finally I'm awake. Yes. And do you say to yourself, the Von Hessler mantra another day first thing I say to be productive after I say another opportunity after I tell the dog to shut |
| 1:51.1 | up oh yeah well is the dog how's the dog doing the dog's not doing well right well one dog's doing |
| 1:57.6 | fine the other dog has something called calcinosis cutest that's That's sad. Oh, you're talking about Tim's dog? Yeah, we're not talking about the dog that interrupts the show. Oh. We're talking about the dog we like. Yeah. I'm just kidding. During COVID, you can hear my dog snoring. That was, yeah. That's cute. You know, when dog snore, I don't find that to be cute. It's bad enough I gotta put up with loved ones. They said, well, you know, they're people. Does your wife snore? We've talked about this before. My wife doesn't snore, really, but she does sometimes have a low rumble. Not even that loud. But the thing is, it's almost like a heartbeat. |
| 2:35.0 | Once it starts, it's on this kind of like rhythm. And so it really- So it's not. It makes me angry. And then I'm stupid. I say, well, why am I getting angry? It's not like she's doing it on purpose. And I know that, you know, when I get going and she has to deal with it, I'm really snoring. |
| 2:52.0 | But strangely enough, I think I snore less now as I'm older, which I think |
| 2:55.9 | is counter to what usually happens. You get the urge to grab that pillow and just smother. |
| 2:59.7 | Well, it's got to stop. Not quite that far, but I will push, you know, a little nudge, |
| 3:06.8 | use the feet to kind of push and just see if we can get her to move around a little bit. And then what happens is it works for a while just to the point where I'm just about to fall back asleep again. And then... But it's very rare. I shouldn't complain about it. It's very rare. And it's not that big when it happens. Put a a camera on her nightstand so that way you can see whether or not she's intentionally doing it or not. |
| 3:27.7 | Oh, you think she might be up to something? She might be like a suit. She knows that it bothers you. So maybe she's waiting one eye open on the other side. He's almost asleep. Okay, go. Start. It's possible. |
| 3:37.3 | Hey, you know what? |
| 3:37.8 | I put her through enough. |
| 3:39.3 | Right? |
| 3:39.8 | It's 38, 39 years. |
| 3:41.8 | 39 years? |
