I'm on the phone with Brian, and this week we're going to be talking about the 2015 film, The Visit, written, co-produced and directed by M. Night Chalin, and starring Olivia Dijong, Ed Oxenbold, Deanna Denagun, and Catherine Hahn.

In this film, a pair of siblings go to visit their grandparents for the first time, but things take an unexpected turn for the worse. Before we dive into the

plot, we're going to spend the first half of the show, or the top half, talking about the background

of the film, and then we'll take a

quick break where there's some music, then we'll dive into the plot, the spoilers, and our review.

Brian, I'm kind of shocked and embarrassed that this is the first M-Night-Chamlan film that we're

covering in like the four years we've been doing this podcast. Can you believe that in any

reasons why you think that's true?

That is pretty surprising. I don't have any good excuses for us other than I think sometimes we

tend to think of his movies as thrillers, but I think some of them fit horror for sure. So I have

no excuse.
