I want to thank a bunch of people for showing up last night at Zanies, the legendary

comedy club in Chicago. I have played Chicago many times, and I have never played Zanies in my life.

So to be able to go there for the first time, the stage that George Carlin played on and so

many people I love, and to have it be sold out, but to have it be for this unholy monstrosity of a book tour that's in comedy clubs. You know, folks, when this whole thing started being cooked up like several months ago, I thought, oh, we'll play theaters and it'll be like a solo theater piece and very literary boo. No, no, it was actually a riot of a show. I want to thank everybody at Zanis. I want to thank

the great Patty Vasquez for being my opening act and running the Q&A for the second half of the show

and all the great folks who came to, you know, do the meet and greet. What a pleasure to meet so many

people and see so many great people in Chicago I haven't seen in a long time. There was a great deal where every ticket got you a book, so my flight was delayed for hours, right? And I barely made it on time. When I got to the club, there was already a line down the block, and we were sold out. There was people already seated. I had to walk through my own audience to get there. I'm that deeply unprofessional.

And they had copies of the book on every year. So, and the book's out of print. So I'm glad.

New copies are coming. And I was told yesterday when my flight landed that we have just made the New York Times bestseller list for the fourth consecutive week. So thank you guys very much.
