1:09.2	and in addition to forcing him to wear dresses,
1:12.3	she would often beat him until he lay unconscious and would burn his small fingers. Despite all that
1:19.9	he suffered at home, John was not a young boy who sought refuge in friendships. Often often
1:26.0	to spend his time tinkering with electronics alone in his basement.
1:30.0	He eventually took this hobby, though, and began making pretty decent money repairing radios and
1:35.3	stereo systems post-graduation. And in 1970, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in physics
1:42.0	from Defiance College in Ohio,
1:50.7	before pursuing his master's in engineering administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
