Today I speak with Dr. Alana Gerevich.

If you remember, she was on the podcast a number of months ago discussing how many

a marker on some functional medicine stool tests had no validation, while others actually did.

She sent me an email wanting to kind of have a little bit of an airing of a disagreement about

a few markers that she feels really make it appropriate to be doing stool testing in those

So we aired those. Essentially, the two markers are, or the two tests are to assess EPI or

extrachrine pancreatic insufficiency. Essentially, your body does not make enough pancreatic enzymes.
