Summary
The concept of “lunatic asylum” was universal around most of the world from the 1800s to the mid-1900s. Oftentimes, they were sprawling brick facilities designed to house nearly anyone that mainstream society didn’t want to deal with. From legitimate mental illness to simply speaking a different language, there was no end to what could qualify an innocent soul from being locked away at the Aradale Asylum. Today, we hear the very true and very haunted history of Australia’s Aradale Asylum with paranormal investigator William Tabone. This is Part Two of our conversation.

| 0:53.1 | They're, you know, we have a lot of patients obviously |
| 0:55.2 | but we have a lot of staff as for example in the in the chapel there is um a priest uh and a |
| 1:05.0 | and a reverent so because the the chapel was a shared chapel so we have a a Catholic priest and we have a, we're believed |
| 1:14.3 | him to be a Protestant minister, come through. And we have two patients that would help them |
| 1:22.7 | out, still coming through on there. And we get them quite often so you know that's staff and and |
| 1:29.2 | patience in one spot actually still working working together um and uh we we believe that they're |
| 1:35.7 | there because they're still administering to the to the spirits that still frequent that that chapel |
| 1:40.9 | because sometimes you're walking there and it'll feel empty other times you're walking there and it'll feel empty. Other times you're walking there and it'll feel full. |
