Ducking, Bravo. And today we're going to be talking to a really good friend of mine, Lauren Skay.

Lauren is one of the kindest, funniest, most girls, girl people you will ever meet in your life.

She's a content creator. She's a writer. I first saw her on TikTok. I just went to her TikTok page to be like, let's see what's going on on TikTok. This woman has 331,000 followers on TikTok. Lauren, I didn't know that the number was that high. That's big dick energy. So she and I are going to be discussing all kinds of things, but mostly focusing on the Valley because Lauren was on our recent episode. I yelled when I was recapping. I was like, that's Lauren. So I texted her immediately and I said, hey, would you come on the pod and just tell us from your perspective, what was it like being at Dave and Busters during the drama? And she said, anytime, and I'm so thankful to her for that. So this chat with Lauren was supposed to go up yesterday along with my roast episode and then today was Valley Recap Day. But I'm having a hard time

getting podcasts out. Why? My HVAC broke. So that really set me behind because I can't record

while people are here and I had a full day of people in and out, in and out trying to figure out

what's wrong. How can we fix it? How much is this going to cost? Spoiler alert, a lot. The whole day, I felt like Diane Keaton and Baby Boom, specifically the part where they tell her how much is going to be to fix her well, because I about passed out. I said, does that number come with smelling salts? Started asking myself, do I need air conditioning? There's a story about this guy who found this place in Arizona. it was very hot, so he dug down in the ground, he made an underground dwelling to escape the heat.

I could do that. I can live like a badger and a den. The bugs. That's what stops me. So that set me back. And I'm also watching too many shows. I'm watching Love Hotel. It's so good, by the way. I'm very into it. It's just like watching The Bachelorette. It's like The Bachelorette and Bravo got together

and they gave us this amazing show.

So we're getting to see Countess Luann, Shannon, Ashley, and Giselle.

All of them looking for love while they're looking great.

And that's also the show where there was like drama between the host and Shannon, which will we ever know what really happened? I hope so. I'm also watching Handmaid's Tale. I'm also watching It Ends With Us. I'm going to put out a pod that Galley and I did about the It Ends with Us. I'm trying to do that on Friday or Saturday. And then on top of everything else, I'm trying to keep up with the Karen Reed trial. And that is

just, it's so much. Because it's not just one trial, okay? This is the second trial. So you know me, when somebody tells me something, I'm like, I got to go back and I got to cross-reference it with what happened in the first trial. So I'm going to try to do one on Karen Reid. I'm going to do my best. It's going to be very like insider talk though.

So that's a little bit of what we got going on around here on top of just normal life. It is teacher

appreciation week. Thank you so much to all of the teachers. I think you're amazing, you're
