As the world unravels,

people unravel too. But what's interesting is I'm not always sure

which came first, the chicken or the egg.

Because

there's a quote, a lot of people, I've seen this quote floating around a lot lately.

The quote is hard times create strong men, strong men create good times,

good times create weak men, weak men create hard times.

It's an author, G Michael Hopf, former Marine, by the way, writes these post apocalyptic

novels.

And if you look at the current times,

and the strange struggles that we fake face right now, it kind of makes you

trying to assess what part of that cycle we're in right now.

What part of the cycle are we in?

And there's there's one category, I guess,

of those struggles that makes me,

makes me really question, it makes the question very heavy.

And that that struggle is sort of all wrapped up

in something called deaths of despair.

Is that a medical term?

It's being used as a pseudo medical term at this point, sociological term,

death of despair that encompasses all kinds of things that we are seeing on the rise.
