Summary

Sometime in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, University of Idaho students Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, were murdered in a residence not far from campus.

On December 30, 2022, 28 year old Bryan Kohberger was arrested in connection with the murders.

On January 5, 2023 the court released the probable cause affidavit outlining the evidence against Kohberger and explaining why police concluded he was the killer. In this episode, we examine the PCA and give our initial impressions of the case against Kohberger.

So there's been one murder case that we've been following behind the scenes for quite some time

They lived in this house at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. They were discovered murdered

who is 28 and was a PhD student actually in a university across the border from Moscow

in Washington state. He has been arrested and today we've learned why he's been arrested because

the probable cause affidavit in the case just robbed. And to explain the reason why there was a

delay between the arrest and the probable cause affidavit was because of a requirement of Idaho

state law. Idaho state law says you can't release the probable cause affidavit until the person

who's been arrested is in the custody of Idaho law enforcement. And this man Cobrager was actually

arrested at his parents' home in Pennsylvania over the Christmas holidays. And it was only recently,

actually last, as we speak, it was just yesterday that he was returned to Idaho. And so that's
