Bergerchef murders, an Indiana cold case. Together, we built a spreadsheet documenting hundreds of

I guess maybe the first place to start is to discuss what didn't happen, which is what we expected

to happen, which would be expected a preliminary hearing. And to oversimplify things a bit,

a preliminary hearing is a bit like a mini trial where we would have seen witnesses called

cross-examine. We would have seen some evidence brought forth in this case. Now that didn't happen.

Instead, they decided to go the route of the grand jury. The biggest practical difference
