So I don't know about anybody else, but I feel like we never left Christmas because during the

shutdown Washington feels like it's still a holiday you can get a seat like at any

restaurant in fact restaurant week has been extended.

Right? There's no traffic coming to work. Right?

It's actually really sad. I got on a flight the

TSA checkpoint and the guy the TSA officer asked me how I was and I said no complaints

how are you and he looks at me and he goes, well I got some complaints but maybe I should keep them to myself.

And I just looked at him and I said thank you for your service.

No, it was ugly.

I do think though that like, so this is where a lot of Americans who don't otherwise come

into contact with the federal government or coming into contact with the federal

government and like you hear all these stories of people being super polite to TSA agents

because they know they're working without pay and I just think like it took a government

shutdown for Americans to be nice to TSA agents.

Wait until it takes a government shutdown for people to appreciate the IRS for the
