Summary

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Tucked away in a near-ghost town in rural Kansas stands an imposing 1904 church, complete with towering spires and a history fit for a Gothic novel. It’s seen baptisms, weddings, and tearful goodbyes—events that seem to linger in the very bones of the building long after the last hymn was sung. Now, paranormal investigator Robert Garcia and his team have taken on the mission of restoring this forgotten landmark, resurrecting it as a gathering place for those who dare to explore its lingering mysteries. We’ll uncover the stories of the faithful few who still roam the pews, even though Sunday service ended long ago.

In a small, nearly forgotten town in rural Kansas, it's the haunted 1904 church, a relic of a time and a town that's seen better days.

Gothic architecture and a storied history of souls passing through its doors and

times of celebration and sadness all come with this nearly abandoned structure.

In recent years, paranormal investigator Robert Garcia and partners have taken over the haunted

space into the world of the paranormal. Many of the souls who once spent their Sundays here seem to continue

coming back many years after the services have ended. Yeah, the haunted 1904 church is a old Methodist

church. It's in La Harp, Kansas, which is this little tiny town south of Kansas City about an hour and a half away. It's about half an

1:15.3

hour from our other location, the 1858 Garno House Hotel. So it's basically what was going on

1:23.0

was we have the hotel and we wanted to look around and see if we could find another location that

1:29.6

we could have much more room in. The Garner House, we love it, but it's only big enough for

1:36.8

maybe 10 people to be inside it at one time. And so this church kind of appeared out of nowhere

1:43.4

and some folks were selling it.

1:45.7

And they kind of had a weird story to tell us when we went in to look at it.

1:52.0

And they were not from Kansas and they were only there briefly, maybe three months that they owned it.

1:59.6

And they kind of had all kinds of weird

2:02.8

experiences inside this church while they were living in it. And some of them had to do with

2:10.2

shadow people and noises and voices and things like that. And that kind of got our interest.

2:18.5

And so we began to explore it more and more.

2:21.9

And so it kind of came to the past that we ended up being the ones who purchased it from

2:26.1

them when they moved off to another state.
