Obviously they aren't very accessible.

They can be dangerous.

They aren't comfortable.

With that also comes this kind of mysterious elusive

environment that really kind of stirs people's imaginations and perceptions and

even just the basic sensory experience of walking through the cave

altogether it just kind of boils down to an innate human desire to

understand and explore the unknown and satiate that curiosity.
