When last we left our heroes, Gaius the Sater Fighter, Otho the Shifter Rogue,

Escan, the Lizard Folk Druid, Milo, the Azamar Cleric, Kai, the human wizard, and a newfound friend

in Halva, the lizard folk human ranger. The party is now on the precipice of the known

lands and skies of Volar. After solving, a romantic conundrum between goblin and halfling,

and setting north to the no man's ice spire,

the party fought the spiritual ice sculpture guardians of winter wolves residing on this icy peak,

and met with the stone-cold memory of Alfer, a frost giant Yarl and spearhead of an ancient

expedition. Sensing Gaius's Runeite origins, the Yarl imparted a warning and message, speaking of

the fates of the giants and their expedition.
