Summary

In 2018, Austin Maynard moved to Bryon, Ohio, a small town brimming with untapped history, mystery, and hauntings, where he founded the Underground Paranormal Network. A network of seven historic and haunted locations, each holding secrets waiting to be unraveled. Through this network, he’s also transforming the community. His vision goes beyond investigation; because he saw an opportunity to not only shed light on these sites but also to breathe new life into the community and preserve its rich heritage.

Austin's contributions to the field of paranormal exploration don't stop there. He's a true trailblazer, collaborating with equipment developers, Ghost Box builders, and innovative researchers to push the boundaries of our understanding. His primary focus lies in Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), a field he's been researching and studying since 2017. In fact, he considers himself more of an experimentalist rather than a researcher. This is Part Two of our conversation.

0:11.8	various locations and it wasn't done like one week you know it
0:16.2	took a little time to go to these seven locations and and you have paranormal
0:20.6	investigations that you host in them or do you kind of open it up for people to go in
0:26.4	on their own? I mean some of them are businesses. You don't want to just go here, you get a walk
0:30.7	around, Father John's micro brewery all night long because they're going to be trying all the beer but I mean I would but
0:39.5	you how do you host these various locations?
0:45.6	Well, we have, basically we open them up privately, like teams can rent them, and we try to keep the prices as low as we can. I think the most
0:56.5	expensive one we have is Father Johns to just do a normal ghost on is like $500. But for a couple hundred dollars more you actually can
1:06.2	rent out the entire Airbnb aspect which is the parsonage which has four bedrooms and five beds, full working bathrooms, like all that stuff and you can stay until from like, you know, 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next day.
1:22.1	Most of it is just like that, like opening up for private teams, but also we do do some public hunts,
1:30.0	mainly at like middle point in the village. We do some at Broadwell Funeral Home as well.
1:37.3	Maybe one or two a year at each location, but for the most part it's just scheduling, coordinating and we have people at each
1:46.9	location that will go out and sit on site in case of an emergency plus we our insurance requires it.
1:54.0	But essentially yeah they the teams will rent the location for the night and
1:59.4	we have somebody on site like that doesn't they're not like with the team or whatever they're just you know on on site either at
2:07.3	base camp or out in their car or something just in case of an emergency but that's
2:12.3	basically how we do it.
2:13.7	Now the Father John's micro brewery, it's an old church that was built in like 1875.
2:21.0	1895. 1895 so it's a now it's a brewery restaurant. It looks so cool like I would love to just go hang out there and have a beer and dinner. But it looks like a
