I have a friend and his wife who recently started coming to Harris Creek and I was talking with

them and I said, hey, I want you to be honest. Like, what do you see that I might not see?

You know, what are the things that when you come into this place for the first time, you're kind of like,

well, why do you guys do it that way?

Or, hey, this was weird.

This was kind of off. And I said, I want you to shoot me really straight. And they just started saying, hey, man, the people there are so friendly and so inviting, and we felt so welcomed. And I was like, oh, man, it feels your heart. You're like, that's good. And they were like, and the singing was, was, you know, incredible.

It stirred our faith. feels your heart. You're like, that's good. And they were like, and the singing was, you know, incredible.

It stirred our affections for Jesus.

And I thought, you know, this is what we just experienced.

I thought, man, thank you.

And they said in the teaching there, you know, it helped us understand God's word better than just places we've been and things we've experienced to feel like we're really learning the Bible.

And I was encouraged by that.

And I said, but you got to shoot me straight.

Like I'm not, I'm looking for the constructive criticism, the feedback.

He goes, well, he was, I mean, surely you know about the save seats.

And I said, what do you mean? And he goes, well, you go in there and, I mean, there's like

a jacket stretched across three chairs and then a Bible and then a journal. Then there's like a

highlighter and a pen making an X, you know, like don't sit here. They were like, we saw homemade reserved signs and saved seats and highlighters on brochures.

And, you know, he goes, it doesn't make you feel very welcomed.

And, you know, I'm embarrassed and I'm like, oh, man, but let me, okay, yes, yes.

Well, here's what happens is, you know, our members get there
