You might have caught whispers of me elsewhere, on Euphamette, out in the field, chasing

something unseen, but Nightdrift has always been the place where we meet eye to eye. I've been away,

but not too far, and now we are back.

Unannounced, unceremonious, like a ghost slipping back into familiar static.

Since the last time we were together, I've changed, and you probably have two.

It's been years for some, months for others, for those who've seen me in person or who

I call a friend. But you're my friend too, and I've missed you.

I'm grateful more than ever to have created space again for this moment,

for you, for me, for night drift.

What brought us here, where I've been, what I've seen? We'll get into that in time, but for now I'll just say, I've been on a journey that's reshaped nearly every part of my life. I've stood in places I used to dream about. I've witnessed magic. I've lost things I thought I'd always have. I've experienced profound love.

I've grown, changed, transformed.

And I think maybe you have two.

So let's keep transforming together.
