We as humans are flawed creatures, mixed bags.

We have both good days and bad.

The latter being the ones that most often stick around.

Like our minds, tragedy weaves its web, through our folk tales, our urban legends, our ghost stories.

Generation after generation we pass on these experiences, around campfires, in a chat room, or a haunted house.

Some report evidence that aligns with the narrative of these tragic tales,

and that in turn keeps the stories alive. The cycle continues. So what happens when we shift our focus?

And instead of only passing on the bad days, We share the good ones too. Yeah, it's still recorded.

All right, Helen, I'm going to turn this off for now.

So we'll walk over to, even though we can't get into the mausoleum this morning, we'll walk over to the community mausoleum, because the architecture is still pretty amazing. Because Anaheim Cemetery was built in the 1800s, and the actual founder of the cemetery's personal mausoleum is over there,

and that has a whole story to it as well.

That's got a wild drama story to it, too,

as far as some infidelity and whatnot.

But this community mausoleum, which was opened in 1914,

and they did the centennial in 2014, but they don't tend to, you can get into it during the week,

just not on the weekends as we're seeing this morning, but with the beautiful, amazing doors, and the thing for me that really struck me when I came here

to get in, outside of like being an architecture nerd and loving all this.

So on these interior wooden doors that you can see that are behind the big iron gate.
