You guys have heard about it from everybody from the 2024 election to the people at your state level,

to the people who are campaigning right now.

What are we going to do about the housing crisis in the United States of America?

Young people can't buy houses, but I'm telling you, no matter where you are, houses are

unaffordable, people aren't selling, people aren't buying.

We decided we would bring in a real estate expert.

He's a real estate developer and a board member of the America First Policy Institutes,

Make Housing Great Again initiative.

We have Michael Burkentine with us today. Michael, thank you for joining me.

Well, thank you for having me. It's great to be here.

I'm so glad you're here because you can tell us what is the deal? Is it really that people can't

afford houses? Because I have to ask you, we have seen these young people that are spending

money on constant vacations and they're always doing all of these amazing things. And then they're

like, we can't afford a house. But I wasn't doing that when I was young. So what is really going on

with young people not affording houses? It's really the perfect question. You know, in America right now, it doesn't matter what generation you are, affordability is definitely an issue. And housing is a supply and demand crisis. You know, right now, it really boils down to supply. If builders built more homes and we didn't have such a deficit, and we'll talk about that in a little bit with a report from White House, but if we didn't have such a deficit and we'll talk about that in a little bit with a report

housing supply and let's say you want to list your house on the market
