Today we have a hard story, but a story I think that we need to hear about.

I actually had never heard the word philicide before until I got this.

In my email.

She's going to tell her story.

And I really, I'm asking you guys to listen carefully because it's a tough story.

Her two children, she tragically lost them to fill aside, which is when a parent kills their own children.

And her children's father, he had them overnight on an unsupervised visit.

Alec was seven, Lydia was six.

And you found out that even though you knew he was dangerous and you'd beg the court not to allow them to go there, you got the calls saying that they were deceased. Is that correct?

Yeah, the school called me and stated that there was an unexcused absence and I tried to call and text him and there was no answer.

And I went over there and knocked on the door and there was silence inside so then that's when I knew that

something was terribly wrong and so I called the police and they came and did their

perimeter checks and knocked on all the doors and the windows and they asked me a

bunch of questions and they asked me a bunch of

questions. And they were worried too because he had previous encounters with the police due to

wellness checks for his own mental health. And so they went inside after they got the go ahead

from their sergeant to go inside. And that's when they found all three,

all three of them deceased. That day, I can't even imagine. And since then, I've listened to a lot
