Summary
A Hebrew-Roman civilization once flourished in the area of the American southwest that we know to be Tucson, Arizona in the years 725-900 AD, nearly 700 years before Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Why do we not know this? Answer: we have known it for nearly 100 years but science wrongly "damned" the discovery. This is the story:
A now priceless archeological find containing 30 artifacts along with a large lead cross with Roman inscriptions on it which tell the story of the trade colony rests in a small museum in Tucson- having been shunned and labeled as a hoax by basically know-nothing Arizona University "experts" in the 1920's- all men with an agenda which did not include changing history by admitting the presence of earlier civilization in the American Southwest. 1001 gives you the story and parts 1 and 2 contain a fascinating interview with expert Don Yates, one of the world's leading experts on Latin inscriptions and a man thoroughly familiar with these artifacts as well as the history surrounding them.
