turning with me this evening to the book of hebrews

hebrews four verse 14

he said seeing them that we have a great high priest

somebody say great high priest who is he

he's passed into the heavens j Jesus, the Son of God.

Let us hold fast our profession.

Or some translate that confession.

Does Jesus work with what we say?

Yes, he does.

For we have not in high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of

our infirmities. You hear people saying people that don't know God, you know, if there is a

God, they say, how would he know about our little pitiful lives down here or would he even care? Yes, he cares. And he is

touched with the feelings of our weaknesses. And it goes on to describe why. How many know that he

keeps track of even every hair on your head? Well, if he keeps track of that, then he keeps track of everything in your life.

He knows, and he cares.

Don't believe the devil's lies.

He goes on to say, we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our

infirmities, but was in all points tempted, like as we are

yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain

mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Now, what's the specific time of need he was referring to in this passage?

The time of temptation.
