Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the gospel truth. Today is the beginning of my fourth

week teaching on the true nature of God. And there's a lot of ways you could summarize this,

but I'm talking about the new covenant versus the old covenant. That's what a lot of ways you could summarize this, but I'm talking about the new covenant

versus the old covenant.

That's what a lot of my focus has been on because covenants are like contracts.

They reveal what a person is binding themselves to, how they will respond.

And under the old covenant, it was not an incorrect covenant, but it was an

incomplete covenant. The reason it was incomplete is not because God has changed, but we have changed.

Before people could be born again under the Old Testament, God could not deal with them the same

way that he deals with us today because we have become a brand new person.

And we now have access to God through the spirit that people couldn't have in the Old Testament.

They couldn't get their heart changed.

They could only go through these outward things that covered sin, but it couldn't take away sin. And so there

is a vast difference in the way that God deals with us and it's exemplified through the New

Covenant versus the Old Covenant. That's the reason that we have a Bible with an Old

Covenant and a New Covenant. it shows us how God used to deal with

people not because he's changed but because we've changed and the way that he now
