1 Peter, the first chapter.

Let's begin in verse 3.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant

mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively or living hope by the resurrection of Jesus

Christ from the dead. See, the end that he was raised, we have salvation, and also we have

the hope that will be raised just like that. Amen. To an inheritance, incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven

for you.

I'm going to understand that the blessings we get now in this life are called just the first

fruits of our inheritance.

First fruit or earnest of our inheritance means something like a down payment.

You know, a lot of times down payments are what, you know, 10% or sometimes less,

sometimes more, you know, something like that.

Well, man, if all the blessings we've got are just 10% of what we've got coming,

then glory to God, we have a very, very bright future.

And that sounds just like God too, doesn't?

That's just like Him.

But it says, verse 5, who are kept by the power of God through faith.

Unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the by the power of God through faith.

Unto salvation.

Ready to be revealed in the last time.

Wherein you greatly rejoice,

just like you did a moment ago,
