Romans 8, verses 14.

It said, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Verse 16, the Spirit itself, or as many translations say Himself,

beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

You can see from these two great New Testament scriptures

that children of God can be and should be led by the spirit of God

and at the means whereby he leads us is by bearing witness with our spirit.

Now we had said to you before that he leads us is by bearing witness with our spirit.

Now, we had said to you before that it's very important the decisions that we make,

that decisions determine direction, and direction determines destiny.

The decisions you make set you on a certain course. If you stay on that course,

you wind up at a certain destination. And so if you're going to be assured that you make the right decision, you got to be led by the Spirit of God. And we talked about how that God leads us.

We said, you know, from this scripture that God bears witness with what part of our being?

Our spirit.

And we mentioned from 1st Thessalonians 5 that the Bible says, I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body.

Be preserved blameless into the coming of our Lord Jesus.

How Proverbs 3 had said, trust in the Lord with all of your heart, don't lean to your own

understanding.

And so we distinguished that there's a difference between the heart and the head.

And we had said, you know, that Proverbs 2027 said, verse 27 said, the spirit of man is the candle

of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. And we had said, you know, that God is going to lead us

and guide us by his spirit through our own spirit, our heart. And when we say spirit, we're talking about
